Wayne and Becky Sloter

Wayne and Becky Sloter of Vincent celebrated their 60th anniversary with family and friends on Aug. 10 at Rolling Hills Ranch in Little Hocking. The couple was married by the late Rev. Forrest Cooper on Aug. 15, 1964, at the Revival Center in Parkersburg. They were introduced to each other by Wayne’s cousin and Becky’s best friend, Phyllis (Dunfee) Dye. And the rest is history.

Wayne is the son of the late Wilbert and Thelma Sloter of Lowell. He was a math teacher at Waterford High School for 37 years.

Becky is the daughter of the late James Vollie and Lyda McGraw of Vincent. She is a homemaker.

They are the parents of four children, Ken (Paula) Sloter of Pickerington, Ohio, Donna (Skip) Little of Winfield, W.Va., Lisa (Ralph) Frank of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Eddie (Lori) Sloter of Ashland, Ohio.

In addition, they are blessed with nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
