Russell Gearl and Dolores Jean Moneypenny will celebrate their 50th anniversary surrounded by their immediate family.
The couple was married on April 10, 1970, in the home of their pastor. They reside in St. Marys.
He is the son of the late Russell and Audra Moneypenny of Harrisville. He is employed at Jay-Bee Oil and Gas in Harrisville and has many years of service with additional oil and gas companies as well as metropolitan companies.
She is the daughter of the late Orville and Dortha Crousser of Fleming. She is a full-time homemaker and retired from Fenton Art Glass after numerous years of service.
Both enjoy spending time with their families, especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They love spending quality time with those they love and truly know the definition of unconditional love. They know no stranger and would do anything for anybody in need.
Celebrating with them are their four children: daughter Teresa (Brett) Stewart of Williamstown, son Randy Moneypenny of St. Marys, daughter Valerie Barnhart of Williamstown and son Jason Moneypenny of St. Marys; their grandchildren: Brittany (Eric) Snodgrass of Williamstown, Waylon Moneypenny of St. Marys, Daden Garrison of Waverly, Kyle Barnhart of Williamstown, Luke Barnhart of Parkersburg, Cheyenne Moneypenny of Waverly, Mont. and Jase of St. Marys; their great-grandchildren: Cayden, Dakota and Bradley Snodgrass. Also, their late grandchild Dakota Moneypenny was present in spirit as well.
