Positive COVID-19 Case reported at Martin School

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Schools were notified of a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 of a Martin Elementary School employee by the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department on Friday.

Both Wood County Schools Superintendent Will Hosaflook and Martin Elementary Principal Thomas Wheeler sent out calls to all the Martin Elementary families and calls have been made to the families of any students who would be immediately affected.

Families are asked to self-quarantine the students from that particular classroom for 14 days, per CDC guidelines.
