There are many people I respect on here, so it seems very odd to me when they go so off base with critiques on their own writings.
Ithink belittles myth for “beating on that old wmd drum.”
Then, to drive the point home, she writes, “Bush had only been in office a few short months…The clinton security people and system were still in place.”
Let’s see how many “short months” Bush had been in office and still relied on the “Clinton security people and system.” Bush assumed the Presidency on Jan. 20, 2001 and invaded Iraq, ostensibly because Hussein still had WMDs, on March 20, 2003.
That’s exactly 26 months.
Now, Ithink may have meant 9/11. If so, her comment isn’t relevant, since we’ve been discussing WMD’s. WMD’s weren’t a factor in 9/11.
Like Kendall, I’d like to know, “Was this goof up on the WMD still the fault of Clinton and the Dems?“
I've been quite critical of Obama. As much as I was with Bush.
When Sec. of State Colin Powell gave his speech before the UN on the topic of WMD...what year was it?
Was it mere months after Bush took office? No.
Was it one year? No.
He gave his speech on 05Feb03. That is over two years since Bush came to office. Was this goof up on the WMD still the fault of Clinton and the Dems?
It is always revealing when WV republican, harry, shows us ,again, his deep devotion and loyalty to conservative ideology.
Try using your limited brain capacity. Bush had only been in office a few short months. Dominated by hanging chad months at that. The clinton security people and system were still in place.
Five yeats and you robots don't hold bamy responsiible for what he does. Yes I find it very funny.
Enjoy the global warming and your new obamacare today.
"I also find it funny that you just basically said that the brains of the Bush administration was the Dems."
That is funny.
You are humorous Ithink. How exactly am I a socialist? I dare you to find anywhere that I have said that socialism is superior to capitalism.
I also find it funny that you just basically said that the brains of the Bush administration was the Dems. Bush just followed the Dems and never questioned their intel. Isn't that what you are saying?
Uneducated myth is still beating on that old wmd drum. Hey myth, Bush got his info from Clinton, Jay, and the rest of the dem funnies. Watch the tapes. And your boy has been in charge for 5 years now. We are not in ancient history mode now.
We are in the obamacare and other debacles of lies and coverups now. And lying to congress is a pretty serious thing for a president to do. I am looking forward to a republican senate.
Oneill, reading something besides socialist brain washing garbage would surely benefit you and myth and Kendall. I would love to see a poll showing what the PNandS readers think about the socialist ideas of your little red group.
Impeach Obama to save nation.
The author of that is well hilarious.
"Die-hard Obama supporters" will likely never accept the fact this president has done great wrong and endeavors to do greater wrong."
I'll accept that when he and the other right wingers endeavour to put The Shrub and Shotgun Cheney in front of a war crimes tribunal.
WMDs anyone? Was any ever found?
They did find those oil fields though didn't they?
Doonesbury is too offensive author apparently doesn't understand satire.
Gee big surprise there. Rightwingers! Entities of such density.
Let them talk I say! The more they yammer on the more people realize how dead wrong they are. More so people are realizing that the "groups" that are energizing the the Tea Party wind bags are capitalizing on that energy and simply using them as a means of making money.
Yep folks here you go.

Impeachment is basically a trial...a trial that requires facts. Please explain where the provable facts are and how they show that he did something illegal.
I'm just giving you a hint of reality which you seem to lack.
But go ahead, explain how they can impeach the President with the evidence they currently have?
Then you can add why any of those noble souls in our Govt haven't done started the process yet.
Just giving you a hint about impeaching a president, Kendall. It is obvious you know nothing about the process. Who were your civics professors? They did a lousy job.
Wow, Ithink didn't add a single bit of new information or a fresh pov to the conversation. How weird ;)
The House easily has the votes to impeach obama any time they want to. Of course the Senate would not convict him.
Clinton was impeached for lying under oathe, but his democrat senators ignored the evidence.
If obama read any of his pet healthcare law he knew he was lying. If he did not know, then we have someone inferior to Donald Duck for a president.
Kendall sounds more like he is ready for the bug house every day. Very weird.
@harry- you have to admit there are those that are chomping at the bit to find some way to try and impeach Obama. They think this could be their chance but it's not.
By the time Obama is out, Obamacare will still be the law of the land and Obama will finish his term without impeachement. At least in regards to Obamacare.
The next President won't overturn Obamacare. It is here to stay whether we like it or not because unless soemthing drastic happens, by the next election it will be firmly entrenched in our society.
Good grief, look how long it took the govt to overturn prohibition and it was a disasterous failure of policy.
@harryanderson- "How can you think Obama didn't lie?"
I've never said that I don't think he lied. What I am aiming at is the difference between thinking and proving.
There are those who would try to impeach Obama on the basis of truthiness...what they feel is true from their gut. Personally I think he knew full well that what he said was going to be wrong at some level if not all the way. But proving it to the extent of impeaching the man and even if this was an impeachable offense is what matters here.
"So Kendall, you would have to have a video of Obama saying.."
Not really, I would accept the same type of proof that got Nixon to resign.
Had I been Clinton, I would have refused to answer the question. I'd have dared them hold me in contempt of court. I imagine many people would back me up. When I got done with Starr, he would be the one humiliated, not me.
But when he lied, he gave up his right to keep his sex life private. What a dummy.
Kendall is right about one thing--Ken Starr should have never made Obama's sex life a public matter.
I believe a person has the right to keep his or her sex life private. Starr didn't accord Clinton that right. I'm against extracurricular borking, but I don't want to borkers publicly humiliated.
