Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

Oh well I wouldn't worry too much looks like your activist Judges on the Supreme Court have pretty much allowed a price tag to be put on the system.

I have no doubt that by 2016 Republicans will own the political process of this country and can install any and all public policies they want.

Just hold on to your diapers....baby's gonna get his way real soon.

I've considered everything you say and found it lacking in compelling evidence.

I've laid out below things that are happening due to mans use of fossil fuels.

Your game is to ignore what I put down then act like I didn't put anything down.

That pretty much shows that you aren't here to debate this issue.

You're just a playa. And a bad one at that so.

I'm think that from here on out I am just going to copy and paste this reply down to each of yours.

I've been laying facts out Tiredofit and just like I said you are denying and ignoring them.

Tired, explain why the previous 17 years the Earth's average temp was higher than the 17, 34..etc number of years prior.

Explain how politics makes the artic ice and glaciers disappear.

Explain why you think that man-made climate change must mean man-only climate change when not one person has said that.

Matter of fact, spreading soot and ash on the ice packs was one of the possible solutions to the "ice age" forecast of the '70s.

" But he might be surprised to find out that Arctic ice coverage is up 50 percent this year from 2012 levels."

Yea but how thick is it?

The thickness is critical. Because if its thin it will melt away fast.

You know the earth at one time had one super continent.

So exactly how old was those boreal forests in Greenland?

Posted 814 days ago.

mythravere

A couple questions.

In your beliefs how old is the earth?

Do you believe in continental drift?

"Have you been to the poles?"

Have you?

That boat if I remember right was stuck in Antarctica. Which is seeing less impacts from global warming. Besides a lot of antarctica's ice on land.

Also most of the earth's population lives in the northern hemisphere.

Actually the one I just mentioned is a good example. Because not only is a warmer atmosphere melting the sea ice up in the north but scientists are finding elevated levels of soot on the ice and snow up there too.

That adds to the amount of sunlight the ice and snow absorbs and contributes to its melting.

Oh yea I need to mention that the northern ice pack becoming less and less in the summer is allowing shipping routes to open up that weren't there ten years ago.

Also there is a push for increased energy exploration by all the countries with with a stake up there.

Couldn't do so much of that ten years ago.

Why is that?

Convince me that me showing you facts is a worthwhile endeavour.

You'll have already shown that you will deny it all.

You know the polar north is still cold and when we have a slew of weather patterns bring that cold down here along with moisture from the south what do we get?

Bad winter! DEE DEE DEE!

"Republicans are at fault for a portion of the debt as well, never denied that."

But you never lambast them the way you do democrats.

mythravere

Whats the point to showing you the predictions that are coming true?

You'll just deny it.

And I'll bet that because of what I just wrote you'll accuse me of not being able to prove that any have come true.

I might do it if I feel like it.

"The debt is a matter of mathematics, I will forgive your ignorance."

I guess if we wanted to keep a lid on the debt we shouldn't have had a Republican administration take us into a ruinous war that hasn't accomplished anything.

They did get access to the oil they were after though.

"All predictions have failed to come to fruition."

False!
