Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

I believe we'll see more Republicans proposing conservative solutions to global warming.

I'm hopeful because, as Bloomberg News reports, "In stark contrast to their party's public stance on Capitol Hill, many Republicans privately acknowledge the scientific consensus that human activity is at least partially responsible for climate change and recognize the need to address the problem."

ww w.bloomberg.co m/news/2014-08-15/many-republicans-privately-support-action-on-climate.html

The left would like to use this issue to implement their big-government agenda. We must fight for our own solutions. Too many Republican leaders are fighting against the Republicans who "recognize the need to address the problem."

That's 64% of them. According to a poll from Yale, 64% of Republicans and Republican leaning independents think we "should take steps to address climate change."

I mean if you seriously cared out this issue you divulge all you know that proves you are right.

Lol. You probably show this thread to your friends so that can see how you are getting our goats so to speak.

The thing is if that were true...man what a pathetic existence you and your friends share.

In other words what you do is akin to walking into a room and lifting your leg and cranking out a great big stinker.

Just a stupid troll is all you are.

You must have a boring life.

Hey Tiredofit since what we believe is a hoax (not) then it'd be pretty hard to prove anything without any facts to back it up right?

But that must mean that what you believe has hard evidence backing it up.

Care to share that info?

Of course not.

But you would if you were honestly opposed to this issue.

You see right there demonstrates your reasoning for chiming in on this issue.

You are just trying to get a rise out of everyone else while they honestly try and talk about this issue.

Well if you don't have evidence about the experiment, why are you ranting so much?

Posted 521 days ago.

Kendall78

"Where is the evidence?"

That's what I'm asking you for Tired but you keep deflecting from giving any. You basically say the experiment is wrong but you offer no proof why it is.

You say that global warming is part of a natural cycle but yet you offer no proof to back that assertion up.

What's wrong with you anyway?

Posted 521 days ago.

Kendall78

I'm just wondering if you have ever tried the experiment or not. Do you rely on emperical data or truthiness?

Posted 521 days ago.

Kendall78

Oh Tired, no proof to back up anything you have said. Try the experiment and see if it works or not.

Besides just opening the jar could let in trace gases from you local environment that could skew the results of the experiment.

You making fun of that shows that you have little understanding of the precision needed to obtain accurate results.

mythravere

"I laughed till I about ****** myself on this one, gee how would they do that Myth OH I KNOW JUST OPEN THE JAR lOLOLOLOLOL"

LOL! I am the one laughing. You see to take away any doubt if I was doing it I would start with the "jar" in a state of vacuum and then add in the precise mix so people like you can't say it wasn't right.

We know what gases constitute our atmosphere. So absolutely make sure every single one is in there in the exact proportion it should be.

Because we know how the smallest detail can through you guys into a hissy fit and be a deal breaker for you.

"scientific FACT tha MAN is causing a change in the climate"

It's already been given. Were you sleeping in class again Tired?

On the experiment topic...why haven't you done the experiment Tired and show that it doesn't work the way you say?

Is it too difficult for you? Maybe you don't understand the properties and wavelengths of the chemical compounds being tested? I am certain we can walk you through it if you are having mental issues with it.

"cannot prove a negative moron"

Ah, lying and name calling....the very trademark of Tired's arguments.

Goodness I bet if one was to meet Turdofit. You'd go to shake his hand and find it limp as a dead fish.

Such is the quality of his manhood.

I real man says what he means and means what he says.

And a real man has no qualms about explaining himself and his positions when asked.

Turdofit's dialog is so convoluted that a shrink would have a field day browsing the shelves of his mind albeit half empty ones at that. But a playground none the less.

Tiredofit are you man? Or a little child?

Oh sir please do answer that question. ;)

Now watch lol! Tiredofit will come in screaming "harry look what he said about you'.

But I'd never say or think that about Harry.

Harry is reasonable and above all else he has separated himself from the partisan hackery that plagues your dialog.

And there is a reason that I believe what Bill Nye does.

Its verifiable. And they are of the type of person I would trust if I knew them personally.

You Tiredofit are the exact type a person I wouldn't trust with my pet rock if I had one.

You conservative types have shown yourselves to be capable of some really sick and twisted things.

Hard to tell what skeletons you have in your closet. LOL! Probably a horse bridle and and a vast collection of womens undergarments.

Posted 522 days ago.

mythravere

You never showed the Nye experiment was flawed.

You did point out the obvious fact that it doesn't represent the true makeup of gases in the atmosphere. But thats obvious to anyone with half a brain.

The experiment could easily be done with a mix of gases representing our atmosphere and "glass" that lets in the complete spectrum of light.

But as done by Bill Nye the experiment was simple demonstration of the principles if co2's effect on our atmosphere.

"because you saw it on the internets"

Curious Tired...how many experiments have you conducted on the topic of global warming?

Posted 522 days ago.

Kendall78

"You guys were all touting it as PROOF.."

Shows that you can't tell the truth about anything. I never even commented on the Nye thing Tired.

Try removing your foot from your mouth. It would benefit your position (as weak as it is) greatly.

Kendall78

"lay it out here"

It's been laid out many times Tired, you simply could not and would not understand it. Not our problem.

Posted 522 days ago.

Kendall78

"I cannot prove a negative Kendall,"

Good thing I NEVER asked you to do that isn't it? But I did ask you to prove, "its a natural cycle", which you claim it is. Don't squirm from it Tired, provide the facts to back up your position.
