Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

If you are referring to the person I think u are, he's a big leftie and warming lemming but also a party Democrat and our very own Harry is a republican,

Stillhere - I think "Harry" IS an attorney and I think I know which one.

Harry there is no " rational discourse" with these brainless minions of the right , when they have no logical argument they resort to the casting of aspersions !

Feel free to spew your propaganda in our little forum, It seems to be quite the source of joy for you. Tell us how the earth has a fever and only Govt can save us.

When you introduce the term anti science, your views on science become germain. When you cite false and debunked statistics your honesty is also a valid subject. When you pretend to be a republican or claim a connection to WV and the mid Ohio valley your area of residence is a valid question although apparently a big international secret

"God darnit, Mr. Anderson, you use your tongue prettier than a twenty dollar wh-ore."

Maybe you should have been an attorney!

And such tactics "generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.”

Or, in the words of my original response, it foils rational discourse.

“An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.”

ht tp://ww w.urbandictionary.co m/define.php?term=Internet%20Troll

I’d say changing the subject from

1.climate change to the 2014 election to

2. my politics to

3.county of residence to

4. the origin of man

all iwithin a couple of hours, qualifies as posting “… irrelevant or off-topic messages.”

and I’d say calling people “useful idiots” and “frauds” qualifies as posting “inflammatory” messages.

As for having “the primary intent of provoking other users,” I’ll not make that charge. I’m no mind reader.

However, you might want to do some soul-searching on that score, IMHO.

“Tea party challenges to Republican senators are fizzling across the country, leaving Mississippi as the only state where a longtime Republican officeholder is seriously endangered by a primary threat from his right.”

And of course, the challenge in Mississippi also failed. The Republican Party moved back to its traditional pragmatism and away from the firebombs.

Has anyone stated that we much submit to the government.

Better yet don't get angry at the government. Get angry with the "citizens" of this nation for electing such an inept group of nitwits.

And I am anti science huh? Harry did women originate from a mans rib?

Here’s one example of how Republican-leaning folks repudiated the right.

“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce says it will back ‘pro-business’ candidates against Tea Party-styled opponents in this year’s elections, largely in response to conservative lawmakers fueling last year's partial government shutdown fight.”
