Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

The right is so far out there curled up in their own comfortable reality that anything that doesn't jive with that reality is considered evil etc.

I'll put it like this. Don't accuse me of putting distance between us when you are the one walking away from me.

And that is in regards to racial issues. And it is the same with political issues too. Don't complain about someone else being divisive when you are actively segregating yourself away from everyone else.

When a person or group chooses to let differences between themselves and others completely close off any chance of a positive relationship its nobody's fault but the person who lets the differences get in the way of that relationship.

And that is how the right approached Obama. He's different...he's not one of us therefore he must be bad.

And when you keep telling yourself that and you entertain every single crazy idea that reinforces what you believe you become segregated and set apart from the whole.

Thats why the right sees anything liberal as an existential threat.

Stillhere people on the right that complain that Obama is being divisive more often than not are actually the ones responsible for any feelings of division that they have in their own minds.

You might think Obama is intentionally driving a wedge between the people of this nation when in reality its you yourself thats allowing these feelings of separateness to come into your thoughts.

If anyone on the right feels that this nation is being divided it is they who are pulling themselves away from the rest of us.

And now the Washington Post fact-checker, Glenn Kessler, has weighed in on Rudy Guiliani's ridiculous statement.

Guiliani earned four "pinocchios," the most possible, reserved for "whoppers."

Just WHO on the right has a seething hatred as you say? Criticism of this administration is no different than that of ANY other administration or IS IT? why because he is half black? Is that why we cannot disagree with him?

Myth you rarely make sense, that is a given. Sometime you must even confuse yourself.

You can't blame Obama when someone goes out of their way and hates the guy of their own accord. HUH? did the guy kill the two cops out of hate for Obama?

You are quite the fan of the ad homonym generalization but exactly WHO are you speaking of>?

Stillhere I assume you are talking about Obama's support of the recent protests?

Posted 219 days ago.

But I have to disagree on the left being intentionally divisive.

The right has done their fair share of taking divisive positions.

I'll put it this way. Its like being in a relationship with someone and deciding to terminate that relationship and then turning around and blaming the other person for walking away from the relationship.

In other words a lot of the divisiveness that Republicans assume is coming from the other side is in reality completely self inflicted.

Some on the right have been consumed with a seething hatred for Obama right from the get go.

You can't blame Obama when someone goes out of their way and hates the guy of their own accord.
