Hannah Lou (Hull) Dukas, of Parkersburg, passed away April 20, 2014, at the Emeritus of Marietta.
She was born May 30, 1934, in Parkersburg, the youngest daughter of the late George W. "Woody" and Dolly G. (Garrett) Hull.
She was a 1951 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was retired from The Kroger Company.
She is survived by one daughter, Emily B. Carson (Scott) of Barboursville, W.Va.; one son, Thomas W. Dukas (Christina) of Parkerbsurg; and six grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Demosthenes T. (Demo) Dukas in 2009; and one daughter, Kristy A. Johnson in 2005.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of the Emeritus of Marietta for their kindness and compassion.
Memorial contributions in Hannah's name may be made to Old Man Rivers in Parkersburg.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Rev. Roger Vernick officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the funeral home.
