Kandace Leigh-Ann Kirby and Brian Kress Duggan were married Sept. 28, 2013, at Soaring Eagle Lodge in Snowshoe, W.Va.
The Rev. Randall Flanagan of Charleston and Deacon Raymond Godwin of Elkins officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Kirby of Hurricane, W.Va. She is a Pre-K teacher for Putnam County Schools.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Duggan of Parkersburg.
He is a sales representative for the NJM Agency of Scott Depot.
The wedding was held on the terrace at Soaring Eagle Lodge, which provided views of the Allegheny Mountains.
Music was performed by a string trio conducted by Matthew Hale. The bridal party entered the ceremony to "A Thousand Years."
The bride was escorted by her father to "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes." The recessional, "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall," also was performed by the string trio with keyboards by Matthew Hale.
Patrick Klesel and Jim McLean of Parkersburg were best men. Groomsmen were Jon Duggan, Bernie Layne, Kevin Godfrey, Nick McCarty and Tony DeRose. They wore tan tuxedos with boutonnieres of succulents and gold feathers.
Katelyn Kirby, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Whitney Williams was matron of honor. Kandace's bridesmaids were Melissa Layne, Brooke Dudley, Heather Wilson, Haley Wingrove, Christin Parsons, Cienna Van Dyke, Marcie Williamson, Arica Montgomery, Rachel Kemper and Megan Joseph. Mackenzie Layne was junior bridesmaid. Emma Dudley was flower girl.
They wore pale pink long chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of succulents, pale pink and white roses and gold feathers.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white gown with a sweetheart neckline, tight bodice and intricate accents on her sash, jewelry and hair accessories. She carried a bouquet of succulents, pale pink and white roses, gold feathers and pale pink ribbon.
A dinner and reception were held on the upper terrace in the Hearth Room at Soaring Eagle Lodge.
After their honeymoon to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and Key West, Fla., they reside in Scott Depot, W.Va.
