Erica Lynn Lucas of Lubeck and Chase Michael Fragale of Vienna were united in marriage Aug. 3, 2013, at New Hope Baptist Church in Parkersburg. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Chad Mugrage.
The bride is the daughter of William E. and Amanda Lucas of Lubeck. She is the granddaughter of the late Woodrow and Dorothy Irene Lucas and Edward Pahl and Betty L. Moore.
The groom is the son of Timothy and LeeAnn Fragale. He is the grandson of the late Angelo and Betty Fragale and James and Dorothy Pearson.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a Disney bridal grown by Alfred Angelo with a jewel encrusted corset bodice with metallic accents, asymmetrical grand tiered ballgown skirt with a lace-up back with a chapel train and veil. She wore a diamond tiara. She carried a bouquet of pink and white garden roses wrapped in a diamond embellished wrap.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Samantha Mace, longtime friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Krissy Carte, Audrey Antolini and Kyla Collins, longtime friends of the bride, Ashley Nutter, cousin of the bride, and Mercedes Bunner and Peyton Doss, friends of the bride. They all wore long hot pink chiffon dresses with a sweet heart neckline with diamond accents in the middle of the bodice and carried bouquets of hot pink and Tiffany blue gerbera daisies mixed with white and pink roses wrapped in a diamond embellished wrap.
Flower girl was Layla Cinnamon, and Melody Cinnamon carried a sign with the message for the groom "This is your last chance to run Uncle Chase." Both girls are nieces of the groom. Bailey Staats and Lexi Moore, both second cousins of the bride, were guest registrars.
Serving as best man was Andrew Moore, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brandon Fragale, brother of the groom, and Deek Ludolph, Surge Bracamontes, Steve Matheny, Paul Garrett and Brandon McPherson, all friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Mason Nutter, second cousin of the bride. Ushers were Chase Moore, cousin of the bride and Tyler Vanmeter, friend of the bride.
After exchanging vows and rings and lighting of the unity candle, Cindy Kerns, family friend of the groom, sang "The Parents Prayer," which was followed by the couple kneeling to "The Lord's Prayer" by Andrea Bocelli.
The reception was held at the Parkersburg Nemesis Shrine. The cake was a four-tier round cake decorated with "And They Lived Happily Ever After" and the topper was Cinderella's castle. The hall was elegantly decorated in hot pink and Tiffany blue with a chandelier hanging in the middle. A buffet dinner was served followed by music and dancing.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and is a graduate of the Wood County School of Practical Nursing. She is employed at the Mid-Ohio Valley Medical Group.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Parkersburg High School and is employed by the West Virginia Division of Corrections as a corretional officer and is in the West Virginia Army National Guard.
After honeymooning on Disney Cruise Lines, the couple make their home in Vienna.
