Leah Diehl, 87, Parkersburg, passed away Dec. 2, 2013, at Ohio Valley Health Care.
She was born Dec. 5, 1925, at Oil City, Pa., a daughter of the late Harry C. and Mary A. Kuhlr Jackson.
Leah was a former employee at Sears and Roebuck, an active member of Stout United Methodist Church, a former president of the Camden Clark Hospital Auxiliary, and was dearly loved by her late son and grandchildren.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Wesley Diehl, Nathan Diehl, Timothy Diehl and Jennifer White; and eight great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Diehl; one son, Edward W. Diehl; one brother, Floyd Jackson; and four sisters, Louise Huff, Jenny Stuck, Violet Hyde and Winifred Gibson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg, with Dr. Paul Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
