RAVENSWOOD - A federal official official has confirmed a death at Constellium Rolled Products.
Area Director Prentice Cline of the Charleston Area Office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said a death at the Ravenswood plant was reported to OSHA at 7 a.m. Friday.
"First thing this morning we sent a compliance officer out to Constellium to begin their investigation," he said.
Cline said OSHA typically does not release information during its investigations, which can last up to six months.
No details on the fatality were immediately available, though Cline said only one death was reported.
