Here's my survey response:

Better uses of time and money: o Bulldoze all abandoned and condemned properties in the city limits o Move that junk/recycling facility OUTSIDE the city limits. WHY in the heck is there a mud-covered recycling/junkyard within city limits??? o Lobby some developers who will buy some of the vacant space within city limits and develop them into NICE restaurants, NICE shopping centers

And, yes, we need to clean house. I plan to vote for very few incumbents next election.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it be a successful venture. I'm and avid baseball fan, and personally, I'd spend plenty of time there if the costs were reasonable. I just don't see it happening.

MOV Reality; You are oh so correct. We hunt for available grant monies and then dream up something to spend it on. Our government is out of control from the Feds down to local level. Let's clean house and start over. It would at least take them some time to learn how to spend frivolously.

Stupid, stupid idea. Look at the size of Charleston and the quality of Appalachian Power Park, then notice the empty seats every game. The WV Power games are a blast, and they're a great value. No way is a Parkersburg team going to be successful, regardless of how much Newell wants to ram it down our throats. Hopefully, they'll see the light after these surveys come in and scrap the entire deal. Then again, Bobby will just find another wasteful pet project to dump money into.
