The mentality that, "Boo Hoo these poor people aren't bad-they're sick. They have a disease called Alcoholism and Drug Addiction. They don't need to go to prison and jail. They need to go to a treatment center or half way house where they can get hugs, kisses and be enabeled." This mentality has not been helping anyone. Treatment centers and half way houses also need to cater to only one sex-not both. Putting men and women in early recovery too close to one another is never a good idea. This turns half way houses into fertility clinics!

To some degree I agree with Mr.Alex. The treatment centers in our area are a joke. Getting people on food stamps, giving them antidepressants-which are drugs?-and coddling them is not helping.
