A year of monthly dinners between a group of friends is the subject of "Table for Seven" by Whitney Gaskell.
A New Year's Eve party hosted by Fran and Will is the start of the Table for Seven Dinner Party Club as the group of friends decide to meet monthly for lavish dinners. But these dinners are the backdrop for a lot of emotional upheaval for all. Fran and Will are having problems in their marriage that used to be comfortable and Fran begins to question everything. Audrey is trying to move on after the death of her husband and struggling with it. Jaime suspects her husband Mark is having an affair and struggles about what to do about it. Coop is the flirtatious serial dater who make have caught the eye of more than a few ladies in the group, but may have finally fallen for someone. And Leland is a widower trying to move forward as well. By the end of the year, whose lives will be changed forever? This is a thoughtful story about how relationships can change and about the strengths of friendship. It is a moving story that will keep pages going.
