Kiki’s Corner: Mother is the sweetest name

(Kiki's Corner by Kiki Angelos - Photo Illustration - MetroCreativeConnection)

Sunday is one of the most important days of the year for the family … A mother is the basic foundation and column for a good family along with a good father.

A perfect family needs both parents to create and develop a well rounded situation and environment. God created us and made us able to have children but also to be responsible and protective for our children’s lives.

A good mother is always a mother as long as she lives to take care of her children and home, to advise them from an early age and protect them as well. Children need their mother (and fathers) so since Sunday is Mother’s Day be sure to take time to be with your mother if possible or contact her by phone or FaceTime. It is very special and important to and for your mother to hear from you and your words of how much you love her and how special she is to you,

“LOVE YOUR MOTHER” with all your heart for the memories you build with your mother will never be forgotten. I will personally remember my mother for all her kind heart, love and affection through the years.

Many mothers devote everything to and for their children and even work several jobs to be able to accomplish and provide everything needed for their child. At the same time some grandmothers are playing the role of mother a second time around if she has or doesn’t have the energy to do so. All this because she cares and like I have said before “once you’re a mother you are always a mother.”

Every year on Mother’s Day my three children go out of their way to make me feel special and to please me anyway possible. (It does not take much for me to be pleased and satisfied and a hug and a kiss is plenty.)

My mother told me to always be a lady and that meant to be your own good person and independent.

Mothers can look into a child’s eyes and see tomorrow and motherhood is the only thing in my life I have really known is something I love and really wanted to do.

To end with I will say this one last thing “mothers are like glue and even when you can’t see them, they still are holding the family together.”

Till next week.
