Downtown PKB: Getting amped for upcoming Point Park concert series

Downtown PKB is excited to announce the 2023 Point Park Concerts on the River summer lineup. This summer’s entertainment will spotlight tribute bands from the well-known past and current artists and groups. Our lineup for the concert series includes:

* Play It Again, a Luke Bryan tribute — June 9

* 1988, an 80s rock band tribute — July 7

* Absolute Queen, a Queen tribute — August 4

The Point Park Concerts on the River are free and organized by Downtown PKB at Point Park in downtown Parkersburg. Shows are held on the second Friday of the month in June and the first Friday of the month in July and August. The Point Park Concerts draw crowds of over 2,500 people. In the event of rain, the backup venue for the Concert Series will be held in the auditorium at Parkersburg High School, 2101 Dudley Ave., Parkersburg.

Food and drink vendors will be on-site selling refreshments unless the concerts are moved to the rain location. Reserved seating for the concert series will be available to purchase online through our website, downtownpkb.com, or by stopping at the Downtown PKB office, 610 Market St., 3rd Floor, Parkersburg. The cost is $65 and includes a chair that will be set up, torn down and stored for you after each concert. At the end of the last concert in August, you will take the chair with you.
