Savor the returning Taste of Parkersburg

Downtown PKB’s event, the Taste of Parkersburg, will be back on Saturday, June 4, after a two-year hiatus.

The event will run from 5 to 11 p.m. at Bicentennial Park (corner of 3rd & Market Streets) in downtown Parkersburg and will feature an exciting mix of food, wine, beer and music.

Tickets and reserved tables are now on sale. Tickets are $15 if you purchase them in advance or $20 at the door. Reserved tables are $400.

This price includes 8 entrance tickets, 80 food and beverage vendor coupons, a reserved table in the middle of all the excitement, and free bottles of water.

We have an amazing lineup of local eateries who will be in attendance providing tasty food in sample sizes for participants: Camden Clark Medical Center, DiCarlo’s, El Mariachi, J.P. Henry’s, Mulberry Lane Country Store, Pappy’s Lip Smackin’ BBQ, Parkersburg Brewing Company, Parkersburg Country Club, Philippines Best Food, The Blennerhassett Restaurant, The Changed Plate, The Confectionary At Crown Florals, The Little Stirr, Unity Cafe and Wine Down on Market. We also have several great wine and beer vendors who will be present.

Participants will purchase vendor coupons that will be used to pay vendors for their food and drinks. Vendor coupons are being sold online and will be sold at the event in half sheets for $10 and whole sheets for $20.

Starting off the entertainment for the evening will be Generation Gap playing from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The next group to hit the stage will be Track 9 playing from 8 to 11 p.m. Both are local bands who will get the crowd energized.
