More holiday cozies Yule enjoy

You can still grab up some cozy mysteries to get you into the holiday spirit.

Rosemarie Ross continues her Courtney Archer series in “Christmas Candy Corpse.”

Set in the lovely Poconos, baker Courtney is ready to take part in a holiday baking contest that quickly devolves into murder when assistant director is found strangled with an apron from judge Shannon’s new product line.

Shannon says she didn’t do it, and the assistant director had been having trouble with a lawyer about settling her grandfather’s estate. But can Courtney find out who this Grinch is that has stolen everyone’s Christmas?

This is a fun cozy that will get readers into the baking spirit as Courtney tracks down a killer.

“Christmas Candy Corpse” is published by Kensington.

The baking theme continues with Winnie Archer’s “A Murder Yule Regret” as part of her Bread Shop Mystery series.

Bakery assistant Ivy Culpepper is ready for a local holiday costume party to help boost her photographer career and maybe get her out of the kitchen. While It Girl Eliza Fox is throwing a Dickens of a party, a tabloid journalist threatens to spoil the festivities. And then he ends up dead.

Eliza might be first on the suspect list, but Ivy soon finds out the journalist had more enemies than imagined and the Ghost of Christmas Past just might show up to take her out too. Will Eliza find a killer before its too late?

With plenty of holiday humor and intrigue, this is a fun addition to the series.

“A Murder Yule Regret” is published by Kensington.
