Tasty food at Savor Saturday
The end of winter is in sight and March will be here before we know it! While we’ve been fortunate to have a pretty mild winter so far, I’m betting all of us are looking forward to the start of spring and the chance to enjoy some time outside. Well, Downtown PKB wants to help you get out of the house while helping to support our downtown restaurant owners.
Savor Saturday will be held on Saturday, March 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at participating restaurants in downtown Parkersburg. This annual event was started several years ago as a way to highlight the diversity of restaurants available in downtown and increase their exposure. At this event, participants will have the opportunity to buy preselected samples or even lunch from each participating restaurant, which will get them an entry into the Savor Saturday contest. To participate in our contest, make a purchase at any of the participating restaurants and receive an entry. Fill out your ticket with your name and phone number, drop off your ticket as you check out to staff and they will collect your entry for the contest. One lucky winner will be drawn on Monday, March 9, and the winner will be contacted by Downtown PKB. The winner will receive dinner for two at a downtown restaurant of their choice, a $50 value.
