Fort Frye kindergarten registration begins tomorrow
Registration begins tomorrow for children who will be attending kindergarten in the Fort Frye School District. Children must be five years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2020 in order to attend kindergarten in the fall of 2020.
All registrations will be at the Central Registrar’s Office, located in Beverly-Center Elementary School on 5th Street in Beverly. Dates and times are Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday, from noon to 7 p.m.
These documents will be needed for registration: Official birth certificate of the child; immunization records; parent/guardian photo ID; court papers showing custody or guardianship, if applicable; and proof of residency, such as a utility bill or rental agreement identifying your physical address. Be sure to bring all of these documents in order to complete the registration.
You do not need to bring your child to this appointment. This is for registration only. Specific screening times will be scheduled when you come to register. Screening dates are: Beverly-Center — April 6 and 7; Salem-Liberty Elementary — April 8; Lowell Elementary — April 9. Contact your school with any questions.
BEVERLY-CENTER STUDENTS EARN HONORS
Several Beverly-Center students were recently honored at the school for their classroom achievements.
These first graders were named to the honor roll for ‘Proficient and Progressing’ with first grade standards for the second nine weeks grading period: Aleena Long (Mastery); Rowan Beasley, Arihauna Beehler, Bryson Bennett-Barth, Blake Campbell, Mackenzie Carpenter, Haiden Craig, Adyen Gilbert, Easton Gossett, Madelyn Jackson, Gavin Kiggans, Delilah Kincaide, Owen Lockhart, Jordan Long, Iziah McKnight, Seth Merritt, Nora Miller, Tucker Norman, Skyla Offenberger, Easton Quimby, Bristol Sajdak-Lapan, Bryson Shafer, Carter Smith, Lariat Smith, BB Thompson, Ashton Wallace, Sophia Wells, and Logan Williams.
Student of the Month awards were presented to these student for going above and beyond in demonstrating honesty in the school and classroom: Kindergarten — Eli Eddy and Noah McKnight; First Grade — Blake Campbell and Iziah McKnight; Second Grade — Enoch Seagraves and Raleigh Warden; Third Grade — Amiyah Petty and Grant Schaad; Fourth Grade — Kya Kehl and Graden Miller; Fifth Grade — Kaley Good and Zach Holliday; Sixth Grade — Lucas Kirkpatrick and Cambria Starkey.
G.O.O.D. Students honored by the Beverly Lions Club for demonstrating good attendance, good listening skills, good work habits, and good citizenship were: Fourth Grade — Edie Baker and Jonathon Richards; Fifth Grade — Nina Freeman and Adeline Willey; Sixth Grade — Cain Campbell and Selise Curry.
