Staying thankful this year
I am THANKFUL for our members!
AND, the opportunity they give us to facilitate events that CONNECT, CELEBRATE and COMMUNICATE!
AND, I’m very thankful to have a new team member starting on Monday!
I am excited to share that Nicole Guinn has accepted the position of Membership & Events Specialist at the MOV Chamber of Commerce.
Nicole’s most recent position is the Events and Marketing Supervisor at The Blennerhassett Hotel. She has been with the organization since August 2013, starting as the Sales & Catering Assistant, then promoted to Sales & Catering Manager four years ago. She brings a strong background in courting and developing customer relationships that will match perfectly with our mission as a membership organization, as well as having been the key contact for several hundred events held at the hotel over her tenure.
Nicole has served on the Chamber’s Special Events Committee for several years and was on the Annual Awards Banquet planning team for 2019. Nicole and her family live in Belpre.
AND, I’m thankful to all our members, partners and Board for your extra support and encouragement over the past 2 months. You graciously offered your help at events, stepped up when I put out requests for extra hands, provided unwavering support and cheerleading that we would find the perfect replacement to join the team.
I say it all the time – we have the best members! And looking back over the last 60 days, I humbly say, “I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Let me close with my wishes for a wonderful holiday season – be safe, have fun with family and friends, and remember “Chamber members support Chamber members!”
