Market Street Monster Mash

Get your scariest, cutest or most creative costume ready for a Halloween themed party on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg. On Saturday, October 26, Downtown PKB will take to the street once again for our annual Monster Mash. The event takes place from 5:30-7 p.m. on the 400th Block of Market Street. Monster Mash is a family centric Halloween party made possible by Downtown PKB; their community sponsors – WVU Medicine Camden Clark, CareSource and CSL Plasma and local businesses and community organizations who set up vendors booths for this event. There is no cost to attend.

At Monster Mash, children will experience hands-on activities and games and participate in trick-or-treating for giveaways and candy, all provided by the local businesses and community organizations. A DJ will be there playing kid-friendly music throughout the evening. Limited concessions will be available to purchase for those who are interested. At 6 p.m. a spooky team from Brickhouse Cardio will be taking part in the Thrill the World dance. Thrill the World is an annual international dance event and world record breaking attempt, in which participants simultaneously emulate the zombie dance seen in the music video of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. The dancers perform in unison at locations throughout the world.

Make sure you come dressed in your best costume for a safe and not so scary evening celebrating the season.

If you are still interested in being a vendor at this year’s Monster Mash, please email Jessica Strickler at jessica@downtownpkb.com for a vendor form.
