I would like to thank all those who attended our Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran Day Celebration on March 29 at the National Guard Armory.

What a great turnout. Thanks to the Armory for allowing us to use their great facility. Thanks for the utmost respect shown to us by all the guard members. Thanks to all the vendors who were there.

Thanks to the South Air Force Jr. ROTC for presenting our colors. Thanks for American Legion Post 15 for the 21 Gun Salute and Taps. Thanks to the South choir for our national anthem and for the great song “My Home Among the Hills.”

Thanks for the great poems by Lanita Vicars and Steve Hoffmann. Thanks for speakers Maj. Fish from the Guard, Mike Hinze from the State DAV in Huntington and Dwight Ullman from Sunset Funeral Home.
