Thank you for the support
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s Mid-Ohio Valley planning committee would like to thank the community for its continued support of the walk and its efforts to raise awareness and funds. More than 5 million people across the U.S. are living with Alzheimer’s and hundreds of thousands more care for them. The money raised through the walk helps to pay for critical programs and services as well as research.
Members of the local volunteer planning committee include: Tammie Johnson and Tim Kern, co-chairs, as well as Tammy Williamson, Pamela Addis, Chris Painter, Anne McFee, Shelly Stollar, Joe Smith, Kelli Lewis, Pam Smith, Mary Corra and Kirstin Reed.
We would like to thank the national sponsors of this year’s walk, Edward Jones and CVS Healthcare and our statewide Gold Sponsors, Village Caregiving and Princeton Health. We would also like to thank the following local sponsors: Buckeye Hills Regional Council, Comfort Keepers of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Piggly Wiggly, the MOV chapter of the Association of Government Accountants, Eaglepointe, the Blennerhassett Corvette Association and our media partners, Results Radio and WMOA.
And thank you to the more than 60 teams to register for the 2020 Walk to End Alzheimer’s MOV.
The 2020 walk season has been extended so teams can continue raising funds toward our goal. Go to alz.org/walk to register a team or donate to the MOV Walk. You can also find information and resources about Alzheimer’s and other dementias at alz.org or by calling our 24-hour helpline at 800-272-3900.
