Hoping actions are right

I don’t fear for my life. I fear for my children and grandchildren’s lives.

I don’t know what to expect from what happened after the death of Qasem Soleimani. I hope and pray that all of the tension de-escalates. I don’t blame just one person. I don’t blame the President. He is doing what he thinks is the best interest of the citizens of the United States. He is trying to protect us from another 9/11. Even if that means taking drastic measures.

I know that there will always be evil in this world. Someone will always want to attack the innocent. Someone will always be there for the innocent. I know that if something ever happens on U.S. soul we the Americans will stand up and defend our country, our freedom, our family and our neighbors.

That is the greatest threat to any other nation that tries to intimidate us. We will fight back. We will not just sit around and watch our country get torn to pieces. We will stand together as one nation. I do not wish this nor do I want this to happen. What a wonderful world this would be if there was no military conflict.

What a wonderful world this would be if there was peace. This I can only wish and dream for. I know that this cannot become a reality due to there being so much evil in this world. Hopefully one day we can look back on this and realize that this is how it should have been from day one. I hope that my children and grandchildren don’t have to suffer from our actions in this moment.

All I can do is hope. Right now that is the least we can all do. Hope that our future families don’t suffer because of what we are doing in this moment.
