World on fire or Amazon scam?

Today’s (Sept. 3) columns in The Parkersburg News and Sentinel by Kathleen Parker and Rich Lowry presented an interesting juxtaposition.

Left wing loon Parker wrings her hands at Brazil’s inaction to allow “the world” to put out their fires. Predictably she drags President Trump into her diatribe. Meanwhile, a thoughtful Lowry informs us that “The Amazon fires are catnip for proponents of radical action on the climate.” While admitting it would be good for Brazil to accept fire fighting aid from the world’s taxpayers, Lowry reminds us that the fires are not an epochal event.

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel is to be commended for being fair and balanced in their choice of opinion columnists from left wing America haters, to reasonable columnists who allow facts to “Trump” political fanaticism.
