On behalf of the Belpre Cross-Country Invitational Committee, I would like to thank all those individuals and organizations that made donations of time, energy, finances, and goods to the inaugural meet, held Sept. 15.

The event was a total success. Not only was it a successful athletic event, but it was also very inspiring to see the Belpre community work together in such a positive way. The hard work of volunteers and city employees provided over 600 runners and hundreds of spectators with a great experience.

We will work to make next year’s meet even better.
