Taking away handicap spots
During the recent Christmas parade I noticed a Marietta business set merchandise in parking spots, including a handicap spot, keeping people from parking there. When people parked there ahead of them putting the stuff there they were told to move. I decided to call the store today to find out why they did that. When I first asked for the manager the person I was talking to became obnoxious asking what I meant by a manager. Finally he told me he was the owner. As soon as I asked why they put their stuff in the parking spots he hung up on me.
I was not rude to the person. I just asked a question. I thought it was wrong of them to put the stuff in the parking spots but to hang up on someone who simply asked a question was beyond rude. I will never shop at that store again and yes I have shopped there before.
What gives a person the right to take up parking spots? What gives a business person a right to think he is better than me is very rude and uncalled for?
