Sharon Winfrey-Scholl

Sharon Lynn Winfrey-Scholl, 74, of Marietta, passed away December 4, 2025, at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born September 15, 1951, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late William H. and Virginia Moore Angus.

Mrs. Scholl was educated in the Tyler County Schools where she was first chair clarinet in the All-State Band for three years straight and was also a graduate of Mountain State Business College. She was a 35 plus year Sales Associate for Atlas Steel until its closing and then an Associate for Metal Tech Steel.

Sharon was an outdoors lady who especially enjoyed fishing with her husband. She loved fishing the streams in Pocahontas County and also Pier 14 at Myrtle Beach.

Surviving is her loving husband, Phillip R. Scholl, sister Marilyn Farley (Dave) of New Martinsville and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 11AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Darrell Farley officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6-8PM and one hour prior to services.
