Karen Minta Smitley West, 76, Marietta, died on Oct. 25, 2025, at Muskingum Skilled Nursing in Beverly surrounded by family.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Newport Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. before the service.
