Robert Clark

Robert Thomas Clark, 87, of Washington, WV, passed away at home after a brief illness. Tom was born in Parkersburg to parents Homer G. and Eve E. Clark (McLain).

He is survived by Jeannie Clark, his wife of 68 years, and his children, Judi McDonald of Parkersburg, Bob Clark of Rivesville, and Janie Clark of North Port, FL. His legacy also includes four grandchildren, John Clark McDonald, Elizabeth Hildreth, Megan Scott, and John Thomas Clark, and five great-grandchildren, Logan McDonald, Madilyn McDonald, Emily Hildreth, Hailey Hendricks, and Orien Evans. He is also survived by his sister Mary Jane Clark Fansher.

He was preceded in death by his son, William (Bill) Clark and his grandson Christopher David McDonald. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Peggy (Clark) Backus, Gerald Homer (Jerry) Clark, Bill Clark, and Jack Clark.

Tom retired from GE Plastics where he worked for 34 years. He was also co-owner of Powell & Clark Music, originally called The Guitar Studio. He was a man of many interests, including woodworking, camping, and blacksmithing.

The family would like to thank the care team of Amedisys Hospice for their care and support during this time.
