Agnes M. Keesor

Agnes M. Keesor, 85, of Belpre, passed away May 7, 2025, at the Rockland Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on Nov. 12, 1939, in Elizabeth, WV, a daughter of the late William L. and Inez Cross Rockhold.

Agnes was a wonderful and caring person, helping her neighbors, especially the elderly around her. She was a country music fan, was known as the “queen” of yard sales and as a talented seamstress, making her daughters clothing when they were younger and even for their dolls. Most of all she loved her family, playing Gin Rummy with them, was a loving grandma and the last smile brought to her face before her passing was from her great grandchild.

She is survived by three daughters, Anita (Robert) Francisco of Belpre, Ohio, Beverly (Jeff) Spencer Parkersburg, WV Donna, (Pernell) Lemon of Little Hocking, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Patrick) Anderson, Rob (Karlee Kirby) Francisco, Justin (Deirdre Huang) Francisco, Jason (Beccah) Spencer, Stacy Spencer, Tiffany (Adam) Duskey, Ashley (John) Merrill, Cody (Katelyn) Lemon; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Doris Shriver; many nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Shirley Richardson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Billy and Ricky; an infant brother; two sisters, Pearl and Phyllis; an infant sister; and her husband, Richard Keesor.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 15th, 2025, 11 a.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home, of Belpre, with Pastor Joe Ward officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held, Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
