Charles Kerns

Charles Kerns, 65, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away March 27, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Was the son of the Late Wilford and Mary Jo (Fairbanks) Kerns. Charles worked for over 46 years at Winans of Parkersburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, bowling and going to church. He was a member of Spreading the Truth Minister of Parkersburg.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Penny Kerns. Children: Amanda Richard, Jessica Easton, Andrea Flinn, Amy Jones and Stephanie Phipps.

Grandchildren: Zachary Richard, Sarah Richard, Madison Richard, Devin Easton, Emilee Moyers, Jasmine Flinn, Khloe Flinn, Natalie Jones, Katlyn Jones, Braylee Jones, Zoey Phipps and Hanna Phipps. Great granddaughter: Gracelynn. Siblings; Ronald Kerns (Sandra), Bonnie Rummer (Kelsie), Pam Brand (Mike)

In addition to both his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Roger and Rick Kerns.

Services will be 4:00PM Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Spreading The Truth Ministry, 1093 Core Road, Parkersburg WV, 26104. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the services at the church. Matheny Whited Funeral Home is honored to assist the Kerns family.
