David L. Cales

David L. Cales, 72, of South Charleston, passed away Feb. 2, 2025, after a brief illness at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School and West Virginia State University. David was an Eagle scout with Troop 4, St. Andrews Methodist Church Parkersburg. He was employed in retail sales with several leading department stores in Charleston. David is survived by Linda Sue, his wife of 51 years. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald Cales and sister Sara Spencer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Mary Cales of Parkersburg. No services are planned at this time.
