Jennifer “Jenny” L. Blair

Jennifer “Jenny” L. Blair, 72, of Williamstown, WV, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at Camden Clark WVU Medicine. She was born in Elkins, WV, a daughter of the late Grover Lloyd and Ruby Mae (Tacy) Smith.

She was a teacher for thirty-eight years in Wood and Ritchie County. She retired in 2012 from Parkersburg South High School. She was a member of Stephenson United Methodist Church where she was active with the Eve Circle, United Methodist Women, church choir, and served as Chair of the Administrative Council. She was a member of Parkersburg Woman’s Club and past president of PTA at the Lubeck Elementary School.

She is survived by her husband John D. Blair; two daughters Lauren Jennifer Morgan (Kevin) and Samantha Nicole Blair; three grandchildren Brayden Zoller, Carter Zoller, and Kora Mae Morgan; a brother James Smith; and a sister Jeri Adams.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Grover “Joe” Smith.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, at Stephenson United Methodist Church with a celebration of life to follow. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
