William Hamilton “Bill” McBrayer
William Hamilton “Bill” McBrayer, 60, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on November 3, 2024. Born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Bill was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Lorri J. McBrayer; son William Mitchell “Mitch” McBrayer (Amy); and cherished grandchildren RaeLynn Ann, Colton Mitchell and Karina Morgan all of Morgantown, WV. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Patricia (McBrayer) and Dave Kincaid of Belpre, OH; sisters Barb Hardman (Stan) of Parkersburg, WV, Susan McBrayer of Belpre, OH, and Donna Morris (David) of Williamstown, WV. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Hamilton McBrayer, and his in-laws, Louis and Lottie Bedekovich.
Bill enjoyed a successful career selling campers and RVs, where he earned a reputation as a well-loved and often requested salesman. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Parkersburg, having served as Grand Knight several times.
A devout Catholic, Bill attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Parkersburg and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Havasu City.
He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, hunting, boating and fishing on Lake Havasu. He was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and cherished traveling with his wife Lorri and their beloved dog, Sugar. Above all, Bill was passionate about his grandchildren. He found great joy playing and spending time with them.
Bill will be remembered for his infectious spirit, love for life, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A funeral service will be at 1 pm. November 16, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
