Pamela Gordon Maslany
Pam Maslany died peacefully at home in Mt. Morris, PA, surrounded by family on Nov. 8, 2024.
She was born in Parkersburg, WV, on Nov. 22, 1953, daughter of the late Woodrow and Helen (Eddy) Gordon. She is survived by her husband, John, and their two sons, Tony of Marietta, Ohio, and Matthew of Lockport, NY, as well as all her nephews and her niece and their families: Karen and Todd Dever, Rick Gilchrist & Regina Duritsa, Steve & Tara Gilchrist, Lance Gordon, Scott & Missy Gordon. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sarah, sister Edith Gilchrist, brother Tom Gordon, and infant brother Billy.
Pam was a 1971 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a graduate of Mountain State Business College. She worked as the Executive Secretary for the West Virginia Credit Union League. She left there in 1987 to raise her family. Pam loved to read and cook, and whether it was cross stitch, crochet, tole painting or knitting, Pam was happiest when she was creating something to give to family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5080 School House Rd., Little Hocking, OH with Father David Huffman as celebrant.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at the family’s convenience at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Hocking, Ohio
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, WV.
