Donna Faye Boyd Morris, 86, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away peacefully Friday, September 20, 2024, at home.

She was born March 21, 1938, a daughter of the late Dallas and Lena Wright Boyd.

Donna attended the 19th Street Church of God. She lived a full, fun-filled, and simple life with an open-door policy that gave her joy to spend time with family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include six children, Michael Solsberger (Peggy), Herman James Fickisen, William E. Johnson, Patty Cockrell (Bob), Tammy Morris, and Janet Pasadyn (David); sisters, Grace Starcher, Patty Thomas, and Jeannine Clark; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Vernon Morris; son, Brian Vernon Morris; daughter, Kathy Renea Morris; two sisters, Loretta Gainer and Linda Church; and two brothers, Jackie E. Boyd and Carl B. Boyd.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Hendershot officiating. Services will conclude with interment in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
