Katie (Frantz) Golden

Katie (Frantz) Golden, 45, Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Sunday August 4, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Parkersburg, WV on March 28th, 1979. She was the daughter of Trudy (McGinnis) Anderson and the late Stephan Frantz. She was a 1997 graduate of Parkersburg High School, a 2001 graduate of Marshall University and was very proud to have been a cheerleader at both schools.

In her professional career, Katie was a CPA, and worked as a Certified Internal Auditor in both Parkersburg and Nashville, TN.

Katie loved the beach, fall, and college football, specifically cheering for the Thundering Herd!

Katie also loved music and the Dave Mathews Band, never passing the opportunity to listen to her favorite, #41. The only thing more precious to Katie was her family, especially her daughter, Kylie.

She is survived by her mother, Trudy Anderson; her loving husband, Jami Golden; daughter Kylie Golden, and many very close friends.

Burial of her ashes will be private, at a later date. Contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, which she felt so strongly in supporting for many years.
