Karen D. (Riffle) Wilcox

Karen, beautiful and loving wife of Roy, returned to her Lord and Savior Monday evening, surrounded by her family members. She was born in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Delbert and Dorothy (Garrett) Riffle.

She was a homemaker and attended Calvary Mission Church. She was loved dearly by her husband Roy, whom she knew for thirty-five years, and been married to for seventeen years. He was her rock – He was always there for her whatever she wanted, he would try to get it for her. She loved him dearly! She never met a stranger and everyone who ever met her loved her dearly.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children Rita (Aaron), Larenda (Steve), and Tony (Pebbles); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters Judy, Rhonda, Anita, and Melissa; her step mother Peggy Riffle; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers David and Harry; and two sisters Barbara and Cricket.

Services will be Friday 11:00 AM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastors Jack Brown and Chris Waldron officiating. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
