Paul Adam Marks Jr.
Paul Adam Marks Jr., 76, passed away Feb. 22, 2021, after a 2 1/2 year battle with brain cancer. He was born October 24, 1944, in Elyria, Ohio, and lived most of his life in Pleasants County, WV, before moving to South Charleston, WV, eight years ago to be near family. He married Ginger Sigler March 14, 1966, and together they raised two children, Paula and Matthew. Paul was a systems computer programmer and retired from Walker in Parkersburg after 40 years of service. After retiring he enjoyed spending his winters in Florida, working on his daughter’s farm and watching his grandchildren grow into Christian adults.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Marks Sr. and Mary Louise Henderson Marks, and his sister, Caroline Marks Hearn.
He is survived by his wife Ginger and son Matthew of South Charleston, daughter Paula (Eric Lee) of Charleston, and grandchildren Caleb, Rachel, Jared (fiancee, Mikaella) and Naomi Lee. He is also survived by his brother Michael, of Parkersburg.
Paul wished to be cremated and a private family service will be held with burial at Willow Island Cemetery in Pleasants County.
