Rachelle Hatfield

Rachelle Hatfield

On Thursday Feb. 13 our beloved Rachelle Marie Hatfield was taken from us, unexpectedly, from complications of the flu. She was 32. Our hearts are broken, our lives forever altered. She leaves behind so many to grieve her death, but none so important as her son, Kayden Lambert. He was her sunshine, her world, her life. She shared her home and provided life guidance for her sister Denisa Roberts, and has since their Mother Sharon Hatfield Davis died in 2012. Their bond was very special, as was her relationship with her brother Zac Williams, his wife Heather, their daughters Tabitha and Hannah and son Mark. Rachelle comes from a large family and will be missed so very much, especially by her Granny Linda Hatfield. Rachelle would often stop by to check on Granny, take her little surprises and occasionally cook for Granny and her housemate Larry Smith. She’ll be missed by her Uncle Doug Hatfield and his family, by her 2nd mom Aunt Nancy Hatfield and her family, by Aunt Lois Hatfield, by Aunt Angie Hatfield and her 3 girls, by her great Aunts and Uncles, by her many cousins, by her step-Dad Terry Davis. Rachelle also had 3 half sisters, Miranda Sabatino, Bryanna Sabatino, and Jacqueline Daugherty. Rachelle worked in home health care, and was a natural at it. She loved her old people as she called them, and they loved her. She was such a bright spot in so many lives. She had a beautiful smile, a funny giggle, a tender heart and a kind soul. She was generous and loving. She was fiercely protective of the people she cared about. She had a huge family of friends who will miss her, especially Santana Henrickson, her partner in many capers. Always remember how much she loved all of you. Remember how she loved music and concerts, laughing, flip flops even in the winter, her crazy affection for her bearded dragon Frankie. Smile when you think about her and remember the good times. In the words of Dr Seuss “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” Please join us on Saturday Feb 22 at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg for a celebration of her life. Help us smile because it happened! Visitation will be from 5-7 followed by a service at 7. Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so at Williamstown Bank/Kayden Lambert Beneficiary Fund, PO Box 305, Williamstown WV 26187, or Leavitt Funeral Home/ Rachelle Hatfield, 403 7th St, Parkersburg WV, 26101, or the GoFundMe account Rachelle’s Memorial Fund.
