Clifford ‘Jim’ McClead II

Clifford “Jim” McClead II, 53, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday January 17, 2020.

He was born December 2, 1966 in Parkersburg, the son of Clifford “Jim” and Charlotte McClead.

Jim graduated from Parkersburg South, Class of 1985. He was employed by CM&I Products, Inc.

In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kristi McClead (Stanley); two sons: Wyatt, of Teays Valley, WV and Dana (Hannah), of Washington, WV. He is also survived by his brother Sam (Kim), of Parkersburg; sister Anna, of Mineral Wells; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Nancy Stanley, of Parkersburg; sisters-in-law Susan Stanley and Jodi Bradley (Stanley), both of Parkersburg; brother-in-law, Buck (PJ) Stanley, of Waterford, OH; seven nephews and one niece.

Most importantly, Jim is survived by his only granddaughter, Avalynn Paige McClead, who was the light of his life. He loved being her Poppy, and looked forward to every moment he got to spend with her.

Jim loved his family more than anything else. Spending time caring for them was his biggest priority in life, and he took pride in having a close-knit, loving family.

Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Leavitt’s Funeral Home on 7th Street in Parkersburg, with services being held Wednesday 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Carl Radcliff will be officiating the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the service.
