Jack E. Lucas

Jack E. Lucas, 86, passed away Nov. 7, 2019 at Eagle Pointe after a long illness with COPD. He was born in Wood County, Sept. 8,1933, the youngest child of the late Parker and Mable Lucas.

Jack was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Crucible Steel in Midland, Pa. He is survived by his children, Christal (Tim) Depue, Michael (Terri) Phillips, of Parkersburg; Blanna (Randy) Short of Bowling Green, Ky.; Kevin (Allison) Grady, East Liverpool, Ohio; Parker J. (Susan) Lucas of Parkersburg. His sister-in-law Beverly Lucas of Belleville, Connie (Bob) Cline of New England, W.Va.; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Also his former wife and friend Alice Phillips of Parkersburg.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Blanna Greer, Dororthy Seevers, Raymond Lucas and Ralph Lucas. He lost his precious fur baby, Jack Jr., earlier this year who meant the world to him. No funeral service at this time. Jack donated his body to the WVU Gift Registry.
