Kristina M. Watkins, 46

Kristina (Krys) M. Watkins, 46, passed away on March 3rd, 2018 at Celtic Hospice in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was born on March 23rd, 1971 in Parkersburg, WV to James and Rebecca Watkins.

Krys grew up in Parkersburg, WV and graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1989. Krys was a member and Past Honored Queen of Job’s Daughters Bethel #3 in Parkersburg, WV.

Krys enjoyed a love of animals and was extremely talented in drawing. Krys was a huge Star Wars enthusiast and loved being “Aunt Jedi” to her Great Niece Kennedy.

Krys is survived by her wife Kathy Leading Bee Tingler of Dallas, PA; Sister Kelli Dye and her fiance Brett of Forty Fort, PA and brother Kenny Watkins and his wife Brooke of Mineral Wells, WV; niece Rachel Dye and her partner Jim Mitkowski of Hunlock Creek, PA; Great niece Kennedy Dye of Hunlock Creek, PA; Uncle Roger Watkins and his wife Althea of Belpre, OH; cousins James Watkins and his wife Melissa of Delaware, OH and Jennifer Leigh and husband Lee (Adam) of Parkersburg, WV and several other cousins.

Krys is preceded in death by her parents James Bruce Watkins and Rebecca Jane Rogers Watkins.

The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at Celtic Hospice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Private services for the family were held at George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 North Main St. in Ashley, PA.
