Angela Beth Cox Dye Zimmer
Angela Beth Cox Dye Zimmer, 51, beloved daughter of Raymond and Yvonne Cox, answered the Lord’s call and entered into His arms on May 5, 2017. She battled brain cancer for almost 17 years with grace and dignity. Doctors had given her prognosis of not living more than 10 years, but God’s plan was supreme as He granted her additional years to enjoy her Christian ministry and family to the amazement of everyone. Angie’s impact on the lives of others was boundless as she was not hesitant or afraid to speak on God’s behalf. She led the youth ministry at Mullen Memorial Baptist Church for several years. She loved working with children in Vacation Bible School and Sunday school, presenting youth dramas and activities. She was an organizer of events, a lover of all people and a prayer warrior. She was a gift from God and always placed other’s needs above her own. She led many souls to Christ. People have said she had a direct line to God. Things that seemed impossible by others were expected by Angie because of her faith.
She was born June 19, 1965, in Parkersburg, WV, and resided in Marietta, OH, with her family. Angie is survived by her husband, Pastor Mark Zimmer; sons, Seth Dye (Amanda) Zimmer of Highland, IL, Andrew Dye Zimmer of Marietta, OH; daughter, Hannah Zimmer at home; three granddaughters, Phoenix, Athena and Freya. Along with her parents, she is also survived by her sisters, Donita Cox of Fleming, OH, Kimberly Cox (Ivan Jr.) Watson of Elizabeth, WV; brothers, Brian (Becky) Cox of Belleville, WV, Darren (Barb) Cox of Kerens, WV; mother-in-law, Rosemarie Zimmer; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
