WILLIAMSTOWN — The Williamstown Police Department released the following report on Jan. 4:

* Joshua Howard Hedges, 42, Washington, W.Va., was arrested on a charge of possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine following an investigation of a suspicious vehicle on West Third Street. Officer R.A. Bailes observed a vehicle parked on the lot at Par Mar on West Third Street after the business was closed. The officer contacted the occupant of the car and subsequently located an amount of suspected crystal methamphetamine, digital scales and over $1,300 in currency. Hedges was transported to the police department for processing, Camden Clark Medical Center for medical clearance and then placed with the Division of Corrections pending an arraignment in Wood County Magistrate Court.
