PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Nov. 16-18:

Nov. 12

The department responded to 77 calls for service.

* Nicole Ramsey, 34, of Parkersburg was arrested on a charge of battery.

* Officers spoke with a complainant in reference to a petit larceny.

* Officers responded to Elm Street in reference to a vehicle entry.

* Officers responded to Depot Street in reference to a vehicle entry.

* Officers responded to three motor vehicle accidents.

Nov. 16

The department responded to 110 calls for service.

* Bernard Lemley, 37, of Walker was arrested on a capias.

* Stephen Oldham, 44, of Parkersburg was arrested on a warrant.

* James Zirkle, 32, of Parkersburg was arrested on a warrant.

* Officers responded to Oak Street in reference to a breaking and entering that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Washington Avenue in reference to a breaking and entering that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Parkersburg Police headquarters in reference to a larceny.

* Officers responded to three motor vehicle accidents.

Nov. 18

* Officers were dispatched to several attempted telephone scams in which victims were asked to provide money to persons over the phone. The department reminded residents that information such as email and bank account usernames and passwords should not be sent to unfamiliar or unverified individuals. A person or company should be contacted through a verified phone number or video chat before information is sent. In addition to reporting these incidents to local law enforcement, they can be reported to the following federal websites: www.ic3.gov (online scams) and www.ftc.gov/complaint (phone scams).
